SORIA NATURAL is born with the purpose of dedicating itself to biological cultivation, processing and manufacture of products derived from medicinal plants and other natural elements.

This young company took its first steps in 1980. The printing of a catalogue of more than 700 products gave SORIA NATURAL a remarkable place in the growing national market of medicinal plants.

SORIA NATURAL, from its beginnings, was aware of the importance in having high quality products to succeed in an increasingly competitive market. To do that, it now has a perfectly equipped lab, its own acres of organically-grown seeded with medicinal plants, which were visited in the last years by more than 5.000 people, and a very well built marketing netnetwork in Spain, Europe and in the American market.

The base of the success and the prosperous development of the authentic natural medicine is a staff of more than 200 people working daily in the service of health, quality and progress. 

SORIA NATURAL factory and its organically-grown fields are located in Garray and surrounding area, a small village in the province of Soria, Community of Castile and Leon. This town is situated at the botton of Numancia hill and at the foot of the Urbion Peaks. The waters of the Duero river irrigate the fields.

The altitude is 1200 meters above sea level, in one of the most uninhabited areas of the country, where industry is practically non-existent. The landscape is 5000 square kilometers of wild pine, with a very ecologically clean environment, advantageous for the fulfillment of our activity.

The addition of a very rigorous continental climate give us very short vital cycles of the plants, as well as many species of plants in the prime of life.

These circumstances help the concentration of active principles that contribute, to a great extent, to the characteristic quality of our products.

The organically-grown fields of SORIA NATURAL currently provide a total of 70 different species of plants, still not enough for its needs

Finally, we cannot forget more than 5000 beehives, which, together with a technical room for the extraction and filling of honey, form the apicultural installations of SORIA NATURAL.

Any investigation is only possible whenever there exist enough technical and human staff. The laboratory, equipped with the most highly effective and modern technology, allows us to investigate and study in depth the properties of plants for the benefit of human beings. The main goals of this laboratory, together with the human staff, are the development of new products, improving the already existing and contrasting the data and results.

One of the main reasons why SORIA NATURAL has become such a notorious company in a short period of time is the investigation of new technologies and the constant investment on this field. Acting this way, it guarantees we can give to the professional and consumer the best phytotherapy and thoroughly inform them what they are really prescribing taking to be healthy.

The organically grown crops, the manufacturing process fully developed inside our premises, along with the work carried out by the quality control laboratory, guarantees the efficacy and quality of our products.

QUALITY CONTROL. SORIA NATURAL controls the plant since their beginning in the crops up to the whole manufacturing processing. Every single plant goes through the following controls:

• Clinical tests (in vivo) and (in vitro).

An industrial plant of 15,000 square meters rises in the middle of 270 acres of organically grown crops. This is where SORIA NATURAL has its headquarters.

Our premises exceed the toughest worldwide regulations to manufacture products with medicinal plants: controlled atmosphere conditions (100, 10,000 and 100,000 p.p.m.), temperature conditioner, special construction materials in floors, ceilings and walls, which allow to have the optimum atmosphere conditions.

SORIA NATURAL concentrated since its beginnings in pursuing the maximum efficiency of technology to obtain the highest possible quality product. Technology, that right now, allow us to perform any known process with medicinal plants, being able to prepare them in any way the customer demands.

Those preparations preserve the properties and maintain all the virtues of the ancient artisan processes, and at the same time improving the deficiencies that could have come from those ancient processes.

To do that, the raw material is subject to rigorous quality controls, which are continued during the whole process of manufacture, until the final product is brought to the market.
