OAT (Avena sativa L)

Description
Annual plant, 50-150 cm high, alternate, lanceolate with flat leaves. Inflorescence is a panicle with open two-flowered spikes. Glumes have a glabrous or becoming glabrous spikelets with rachis that won’t disassemble at maturity. The fruit is a brown caryopsis.

The aerial parts of the green plant.
